In 2026, the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for the UK marks an exceptional milestone: 140 years of supporting trade, investment and business relations between Italy and the United Kingdom. The 47th ICCIUK Annual Conference and 140th Anniversary Celebration will focus on "The Power of Regions: How Sicily and Wales Drive Investment, Innovation and Growth", exploring how two regions with strong identities and international outlooks can become strategic gateways for future economic development. The programme will examine opportunities across three key areas: tourism and hospitality investment between Sicily and Wales, Sicilian agri-food excellence and its potential in the Welsh market, and Sicily's emerging role as a Mediterranean technology, energy and connectivity hub. Hosted at The Dorchester on 29 October 2026, the event will bring together approximately 200 selected guests, including ICCIUK members, Italian and British entrepreneurs, investors and leading institutions, for high-level discussion, networking and a formal celebration of the Chamber's 140-year history.
